RFID Antennas

Antennas and RFID tags are two important components used in RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology.

An antenna is a device that radiates or receives electromagnetic waves. In RFID systems, antennas are used to transmit and receive radio waves to communicate with RFID tags. The antenna converts electrical signals into radio waves for transmission and vice versa for receiving signals.

RFID tags, also known as transponders or smart labels, are small electronic devices that consist of an integrated circuit (IC) and an antenna. These tags store data and can be attached to or embedded in objects, products, or assets. The IC in the RFID tag contains a unique identifier and other data that can be read by RFID readers using radio waves.
