The disinfectable, wireless Medical Keyboard AK-C8112 in full layout is highly versatile in hygiene-critical areas and lives up to the high demands of frequent users in hospitals and medical practices. Disinfectable medical keyboard with full layout and flat key profile
Like all Active Key hygiene keyboards of the “-12”-range (suffix -12, e.g. AK-C7412, AK-C4012), the AK-C8112 hygiene keyboard has a particularly flat key profile. This has been proven to remove more bacteria and germs during cleaning. Together with the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden, we carried out a phosphor gel emulation test with the AK-C8100 and AK-C7412 hygiene keyboards. This has clearly shown that the keyboard with the flat key profile (AK-C7412) leaves significantly less to no cleaning residue in the spaces between the keys after wipe disinfection than the keyboard with the higher profile (AK-C8100).
